SKELIBORG!!!
A downloadable game
Coming Summer 2024 . . .
You Are A SKELETON!!!
You thought you were finally at rest, finally escaped the war, finally able to forget the horrors of being alive, finally able to close your mind to oblivion forever.
You were very wrong.
You are now a skeleton warrior in the Necrolord’s army. By his command, you are forced into battle. Sent out to slay innocents, burn villages & crops, steal treasures, and generally wreak havoc against the very people you used to call friends & family.
However, the human mortals have champions . . . WARRIORS of their own who have one goal and one only.
Kill all skeletons!
The Necrofeast
While you wish to be dead, to truly rest from this horror, the power of the Necrofeast keeps you alive. This magic from an ungodly dimension animates your bones and keeps you together . . . but also eats away at the remainder of your corpse. Eventually, the magic will consume you completely. . . and you’ll finally rest.
About The Game System
Skeliborg is inspired by and based on the popular Mork Borg system by Pelle Nillson & Johan Nohr using the Mork Borg Open Game Licence. It is an incredibly intuitive and simple game system that uses a D20 as its core mechanic.
In Skeliborg, your skeleton has 4 Abilities that dictate everything your skeleton is capable of doing.
To make your skeleton, you'll roll 4D6 & remove the lowest dice result. Add the remaining 3 results together to get your base ability score (repeated for each of the 4 Abilities). This score determines your Ability mod.
During game-play, these modifiers are your most important element of your skeleton sheet. They are used for every Test in the game as follows:
The majority of the time, the Difficulty Rating will be 12 (the normal target number for any roll), but can be made easier or more difficult based on any given situation.
Solo Adventuring
SKELIBORG can be played in a traditional RPG style with a Game Master at the helm OR you can play solo and/or co-op using a few basic randomizers in the game. Mainly, a table for random commands from the Necrolord, a randomized enemy roll, and randomized dungeon generator which you can draw out on graph paper or a vinyl game mat!

Hi looking through you are missing a Power Rot 3. So it goes 1, 2, 4.
Also how do we know which dice to roll for page 2? It doesnt say why we would roll a D100 vs a D10 for example
Have have fixed the rules for Power Rot, making it a D6 roll instead and giving a +1 roll bonus to seers and witches.
Page 2, just like other Mork Borg style games, is more abstract. How close does the game master/players feel they are to the end of their Necrofeast? Choose a dice based on that and roll it.
Does it have or will there be a printer friendly version? Single page vs spread layout? Page count? Page size: Letter, zine (A5), something else?
The current playtest version does not have a printer friendly version, but it will be up for consideration if we meet the presale goal. It is a 35 page full art full color zine in single page layout style. Page size is 7x10. I hope that helps!
